Solidarity with Union Members
I have been a trade union member. almost continuously, since the age of 16
I started with NUS membership, had a break when I worked for Bradford & Bingley and NatWest because I wasn’t aware of a union I could join, I then returned to the NUS during my degree and then progressed to NEU membership when I started my teacher training.
I was a teacher for 15 years before returning to financial services, I still maintain my membership and participate in NEU activity to show my continued support for my teaching colleagues.
I actively encourage and promote trade union membership to my clients – because without unions we wouldn’t enjoy the multiple benefits we have in employment today.
What I Can Offer

You don’t need to be a member of a particular profession to benefit from the discount, you just need to be a member of a recognised trade union (see list) and have evidence of the payment of subs either through your payslips or bank statements.

There are lenders and Insurers who offer preferential terms to public sector employees and I can advise you on how to make the most of these concessions.
I also advise on how to make use of union concessions such as free wills and reduced cost conveyancing where applicable.
Plus I work flexibly so I am available evenings, weekends and bank holidays so you can access advice at a time that suits you.
