Pleased to meet you

During the mortgage advice process I have to ask you a lot of pretty personal questions, it helps me to give you the best advice.

But it can be difficult to discuss really personal stuff with someone you don’t know, so, it’s only fair you know a bit about me!

HERE I AM

I’ve led an interesting life, not much fazes me. I’m rarely surprised by people. I love the unpredictability of human nature. It’s why I love working with people so much, no day is ever the same!

I left home at 17 and since then I have lived all over the UK, settling in Gloucestershire in 2008.

It was also a lot of fun, growing with my babies, day trips, camping, Butlins, music festivals, they were difficult but really happy times.

I graduated in 2004 and took a school based role. (It was a practical choice, I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my kids!) From there, I trained as a teacher, qualifying in 2009.

I taught English, Humanities and PSHE for 13 years in mainstream and alternative provisions.

I love travelling and I am happiest when I’m wandering with my favourite people. Particularly by train, with just a rucksack and a rough plan of where we might end up!

Oh and I constantly change my hair, which I have discovered is pretty tricky for having photos taken for the business! I promise it is actually me 😂
